Fr 6/3/22- 1st Walk Listening to Amazon Unlimited Music

 Fr 6/3/22

725am (2). 1055am (2). 645pm (2). 835pm (1).

Up 535am: Bright and sunny with temps to low 80's.

Watched 'ICHI THE KILLER' (Kanopy). Will the picture quality be better due to the faster router/modem? The picture hung-up one time and I cleared the browsing data and everything was fine. It is odd that any problem always begins about the one hour mark. I wonder if this is significant.

Takashi Miike's transgressive and groundbreaking classic in a digitally restored special edition.

From the film's page at Kanopy:

" This visceral, bloody, and often hilarious film follows Kakihara (Tadanobu Asano), a notoriously sadistic yakuza enforcer whose search for his boss’ killer brings him into the orbit of a demented costumed assassin known as Ichi." The story was more than a little confusing, but the narrative is not even tangential to the total experience and the costumes were bizarre and hilarious.

1030pm: The PC is 'Off' and preparing for a walk and this will be the first time that I'll be listening to the phone exclusively- later, the lawn.

11am:  Parkview, Wash.Pk, northside, Walnut,  Leland,  Lincoln,  Outer Park, Wiggins,  Wash.Pk, southside, up the hill, Parkview, Fairway, and up to 940...TWO HOURS...Amazon Unlimited!  'Get Happy'; 'London Calling'.

145pm-23pm: Mowing. The plan was to mow the lawn, rest and then tackle the wifi adapter installation. I was too beat and didn't want to screw around with it- tomorrow, I promise.

Reading 'LILY WHITE'

355pm: TWO MILES AT 4.1 PACE AND 1.50 SLANT and began RICKY WILLIAMS on 'JOEY'S JOINT

Trimmed around the big tree out front.

445pm:  In the tub with 'LILY WHITE' and listening to 'Down On The Farm'/ 'Time Loves A Hero'- LITTLE FEAT; THE BAND- 'Music From Big Pink'.

Since I didn't connect the new adapter, it's in the living room for tonight.

Watched 'SUMMER DAYS SUMMER NIGHTS' (Amazon Prime).  An engrossing film about a group of '20 somethings' who live in Long Beach, Long Island in 1982. The film is divided into the holidays of Summer: Memorial Day, July 4th, and Labor Day and this is their last summer together. All of their lives will change drastically that first week of September, 1982. Kind of a gritty romantic soap opera and I really liked it; with mostly TV actors and directed by Edward Burns who also plays 'dad'.
