Mo 6/20/22- Early Walk to Heartland

 Mo 6/20/22

Up 530am: Another bright and sunny day and temps to low 90's.

630am-740am: I decided to walk to Heartland and deposit the nine dollar check from MetLife. A perfect summer morning and I listened to 'Tres Hombres' and 'Toys In The Attic'; An Hour and 20 Mins. 

Watched 'SPENCER' (Kanopy). A fanciful look at Princess Diana's conflicted relationship with 'Them' (The Royals) at their family Christmas celebration at Sandringham Palace during the early 90's. Did she really have a non-sexual relationship with a lesbian servant? And, was any of the rest of it based on real evidence;  with Kristen Stewart, Sally Hawkins and Timothy Spall. Part of the film is set at Sandringham Palace- 110 miles north of London. "A fable from a true tragedy".

Began 'BEST WISHES; WARMEST REGARDS: A Schitt's Creek Farewell' (Netflix).  A glowing tribute to a show that broke sexual and social boundaries with intelligence and wit. I had forgotten how good the costumes were and it reminded me of the movie 'BRAZIL' where fashionable women wore 'shoes' in their hair.

12pm: PC is 'Off' and preparing for an afternoon at Planet Fitness. The plan is to hit The Dollar General up the hill after the workout to get a case of '9 Lives' and some new ear buds. 

1230pm: To Planet Fitness; 45"Cross.  45"Treadmill.  30"Bike.  30"Treadmill.  30" Cross and binged on 'MANHUNT: Unabomber' (Netflix), finished a MARK NORMAND/JOE LIST, and began the latest JOEY'S JOINT. 

***The Dollar General: a $7 case of '9 Lives' (pate); a $5 pair of earbuds.

445pm:  In the tub with HOAG and listening to 'Future Shock'- HERBIE HANCOCK; PARLIAMENT.

Watched more of 'MANHUNT: Unabomber' (Netflix).   "UN-A-BOMBER- University and Airline Bomber". The famous police sketch of the Unabomber is actually a portrait of the guy who drew the sketch. It was made ten years after the woman witnessed the Unabomber and in all that time her memory had morphed the 'suspect' and the  guy she had spent several hours collaborating on the drawing into one memory.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}. We exchanged books & Joe recommended an 'oiler' that fits under the belt of a treadmill. Melissa is now '2nd in command' at the Illinois Parole Board...
