We 6/1/22
745am (2). 1050am (1). 1215pm (1). 650pm (1).
Up 630am: Heavy storms very early this morning and an inch is already in the rain gauge. Rain is in the forecast for this morning and this afternoon and temps only to mid 70's.
I wanted to watch 'OUT OF SIGHT' with George Clooney and Jennifer Lopez but it is no longer on Peacock. It was there last night but I found it on Amazon Prime so I'll see it later.
Watched 'THE BOURNE LEGACY' (Peacock-TV). The film deals with a government recall of the secret black-ops programs of Treadstone, Blackbriar and Silverlake. The object was to turn recruits into nearly superhuman assassins but there seems to have been a change in protocol. You don't fully understand what's going on until the middle of the film but not much is lost. There's a great parkour sequence in the alleyways of Manila followed by a wicked motorcycle chase. A star-studded cast; Jeremy Renner, Rachel Weisz, Edward Norton, Scott Glenn, Stacy Keach, Corey Stoll (HOUSE OF CARDS), Albert Finney, and David Strathairn...Reasoning for all questionable foreign policy actions: "Morally indefensible and absolutely necessary".
Watched the first episode of 'THE MINIONS OF MIDAS' (Netflix). Another solid Spanish series like 'WRONG SIDE OF THE TRACKS' (Netflix) and I will continue at Planet Fitness later this afternoon.
1220pm: To Planet Fitness. 45" Cross. 45" Treadmill. 30" Bike. 30"Treadmill. 30" Cross and binged on 'THE MINIONS OF MIDAS' (NETFLIX).
To Heartland for $200 to buy a couple of eighths of weed and some gummies later in the week. I went inside and tried to find out why I couldn't withdraw $200 from the ATM on Memorial Day. It's still a mystery.
445pm: In the tub with SUSAN ISAACS and listening to 'HARD BOP' Amazon playlist. Spent some wasted time trying to find out how much tickets were for the local semi-pro baseball league for Springfield. A fucking ridiculous website that tries to 'up sell' the season tickets and nearly impossible to buy a single ticket. These nitwits deserve to fail.
Watched 'NOT FADE AWAY' (Amazon Prime). An authentic and heartfelt take on the early days of rock'n'roll and its' impact on suburban white kids. Steven Van Zandt was the musical director for the film and includes a fantastic choice of obscure rock classics. No name actors except for James Galdofini and the directorial debut of The Sopranos creator David Chase.
