We 7/20/22
715am (2). 10am (1/2). 1140am (2). 640pm (1).
Up 540am: Bright and sunny with temps to a toasty 90 degrees.
***I 'sawed' (yes, I used my saw) the TV box so that I could fit it into the big blue can. It would have cost $23 if Republic picked it up.
Watched 'PERSUASION' (Netflix). A wry and droll story of a couple who gave up on Love during their teens, and eight years later they both realize that their fire of Love still burns brightly. From a novel by Jane Austen. The secondary characters were unforgettable due to their unrelentingly narcissistic attitudes; with Richard E. Grant, Dakota Johnson, Henry Golding, and Mia McKenna-Bruce. I really liked this one. ..."Marriage is the greatest blessing that life can offer"..."Where are your children?"...How should I know?".
Then more of 'CHLOE' (Amazon Prime). An odd look at love and attraction between people that share a work environment yet come from a different social and economic class- Strange, yet compelling series TV.
1055am: PC is 'Off' and preparing for an afternoon at Planet Fitness. After the workout I'll drop the modem at the i3 Broadband office west of the mall.
1155am: To Planet Fitness. 45"Cross. 45"Treadmill. 30"Bike. 30"Treadmill. 30"Cross and finished 'THE TERMINAL LIST' (AMAZON PRIME) and more MARK NORMAND on BERTCAST, and began a SKEPTIC TANK.
320pm: To i3 Broadband and the manager said he'd send out a different tech and give me a free month if I came back. No can do.
Read 'KINDRED'
435pm: In the tub with 'KINDRED' and listening to 'Celebrate the Music of PETER GREEN'; 'Smokin'- HUMBLE PIE.
Began PAUL VIRZI on J.R.E.
Watched episode #1 of 'INDIAN PREDATOR: The Butcher of Delhi' (Netflix). I watched the first and part of the second episode of this three part mini-series. Murders and beheadings from the early 2000's perpetrated by an impoverished laborer who had a motorized cart. He used it to sell vegetables and also to deposit body parts in and around the city. No new ground was broken.
