 Up 530am: I kept waking up and it made for a rough night of sleep. Partly cloudy with temps to mid 80's.

I watched a Netflix disc called 'GEORGETOWN'. (The disc must have arrived late yesterday)  It's an elegant tale of a dapper swindler who marries a ninety year old Georgetown maven and attempts to use her social position for his personal gain. In the end, his lies catch up to him but only after he murders his meal ticket; with Christoph Waltz, Vanessa Redgrave, and Annette Bening. Directed by Christoph Waltz. The film is supposed to be based on actual events but I wonder how close to the truth it actually is. 

945am: Shutting the PC down a little early and will take a walk downtown to mail the dental insurance form and the Netflix disc. I've been off the walks for the past few days because of the foot problem. 

1030am: Out & back Edwards: ONE HOUR AND 45 MINUTES; LED ZEPPELIN and a psychedelic expert on J.R.E. 

Reading 'UNDER THE BANNER OF HEAVEN

345pm:  TWO MILES AT 4.0 PACE AND ZERO SLANT and finished BERT KREISCHER on CLUB RANDOM. 

435pm: In the tub with 'UNDER THE BANNER OF HEAVEN' and listening to LED ZEPPELIN- 'Live: 1976'; TOOL- 'FEAR INOCULUM'.

***Got an email from Melissa that the 50th anniversary party for Joe and Janny will be at Bella Milano on Friday at 6pm. I told her that I'd be there. 

Watched part of a TUESDAYS WITH STORIES and then more of 'THE UNDECLARED WAR' (Peacock-TV). This episode covers the story from the other side. It's a look at the Russian hacker team and one young man who is scared that the cyber 'attack within an attack' might lead to world war and destroy the world.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Not bad, but close, however excellent and creative charcoal drawings as the 'hints' to Eckhart's character.  Th 10/2/25 8am (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse). 10am (1-B: Citrus Mac). 1220pm (2-LB: Citrus Mac). 535pm (1-LB: Citrus Mac). 810pm (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse).  Up 715am: {took a dump at 4am}. Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80". Borrowed 'HOLY COW' and 'TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH' from Hoopla to meet my quota for September. Watched 'HOLY COW' (Hoopla). A troubled teen and his young sister try to make a go of it on their farmstead dairy after their father dies. It's got a strange tone and far from an average 'coming of age' tale. Set in far eastern France near the rural villages of Pimorin and Orgelet which are about 75 miles west of Geneva, Switzerland.
