Mo 8/1/22- Buddy Sick

 Mo 8/1/22

715am (B). 1125am (B).350pm (gr/wh). 640pm (B).

Up 545am: A massive thunderstorm rolled through about 6am and rain continued till about 7am. Then, partly cloudy with temps to about 90.

***Buddy was acting strange and he was downstairs when I woke up. He's usually right outside the bedroom door and he didn't eat his '9 Lives', but waited until the 'crunchies' were served. I have to order another gel-pen later this morning.

He threw up at about 8am. even though he had seemed to get his appetite back. An hour later he threw up again. 825am- I gave him some more '9 Lives' and I hope he keeps it down.

Watched 'A TASTE OF HUNGER' (Hoopla). In Copenhagen a career driven restaurant owner does everything in his power to get the coveted 'One Star' from Michelin, even though he risks the loss of his wife and kids. His wife was having an affair with another chef and her seven year old daughter wrote an anonymous note to her father stating that ' Your Wife Is In Love With Another Man'. In the end he doesn't get the 'One Star', but is awarded 'Two Stars' and there's a bit of a reconciliation with the family at a  hot dog stand. A well done love story that should especially appeal to people who love the culinary arts and also to the rest of us. I really liked the film.

Wrote the 'Chat'

1045am: PC is 'Off' and will clean the bong, wait for the call from Brewer, and then head out for the park and swing by the animal hospital on the way back.

1130pm: Parkview, Wash.Pk southside, Park (I saw 'Jack' [RUSH JR.] at Park/Edwards), Monroe, Adams, Washington and over behind McD's, behind Remax, Brewer, Old Jack's, Oakmont, Parkview, Kenyon, and down to 940...TWO HOURS...Live THE WHO.

***Buddy threw up while I was gone.  It's 3pm and I've fed him twice and he seems OK if a bit more subdued.

Reading 'ANIMAL FARM'

355pm:  TWO MILES AT 4.1 PACE AND 1.50 SLANT and more of BERTCAST & Family.

450pm: In the tub with 'ANIMAL FARM' and listening to ELMORE JAMES;  'Complete BBC Recordings'- LED ZEPPELIN.

Watched 'CIVIL: BEN CRUMP' (Netflix). A rather dull biopic of notorious civil rights lawyer Ben Crump who handled the George Floyd case. The payout was $27 million and this is the highest payout related to a wrongful death lawsuit in the history of Minneapolis.

***Last i3 Broadband bill shows I have $21 and I need to know how to get it.
