810am: Got a reminder from the dentist about the 1pm appointment on Wednesday.

Watched 'ALBATROSS' (Hoopla).  This Independent film is set in the late fifties and concerns a biracial couple who go to dinner at the wife's parents' affluent suburban home. Her father is a psychiatrist who is treating a male patient with LSD therapy and he's also a closeted gay man and he's having an affair with this young guy.  The whole film is a confused mess and it was so odd that it's a wonder that it made it to the screen. How they got this turkey made would have been a better film. Shot in Toronto and Hamilton, Ontario. I gave it four stars on Hoopla just for orneriness.  

Wrote The Chat and sent it; 'JACK & JILL', a plug for `LICORICE PIZZA', the new rug 'runner' downstairs. 

Began the first episode of 'A MODEL FAMILY' (Netflix). A man is rear ended on a deserted road and when he checks out the condition of the other car he finds two men shot and bleeding out.  And, there's also a big duffle bag full of cash. This is high quality Korean film making and I'll check out more of this tonight. 

1145am: PC is 'Off' and preparing for a walk to Washington Park and back. I'm cutting back a bit because of the pain on the outside of my right foot. 

1215pm:  Parkview, Wash.Pk southside, Vine, Walnut, Wash.Pk northside, up the hill, Parkview, Fairway and up to 940...ONE HOUR AND 15 MINUTES...LED ZEPPELIN. 

Reading 'JACK & JILL'

320pm:  THREE MILES AT 4.0 PACE AND ZERO SLANT and finished MIKE TYSON on JOEY'S JOINT,  began TUESDAYS WITH STORIES. 

435: In the tub with 'JACK & JILL' and listening to THE ELECTRIC FLAG; THE PAUL BUTTERFIELD BLUES BAND.

Did a set of weights/ 15 reps

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Not bad, but close, however excellent and creative charcoal drawings as the 'hints' to Eckhart's character.  Th 10/2/25 8am (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse). 10am (1-B: Citrus Mac). 1220pm (2-LB: Citrus Mac). 535pm (1-LB: Citrus Mac). 810pm (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse).  Up 715am: {took a dump at 4am}. Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80". Borrowed 'HOLY COW' and 'TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH' from Hoopla to meet my quota for September. Watched 'HOLY COW' (Hoopla). A troubled teen and his young sister try to make a go of it on their farmstead dairy after their father dies. It's got a strange tone and far from an average 'coming of age' tale. Set in far eastern France near the rural villages of Pimorin and Orgelet which are about 75 miles west of Geneva, Switzerland.
