Up 530am: Mostly sunny and temps to low 90's. Another beautiful summer day.

***After yesterday's walk my right foot was sore; right side/ a muscle or bone near the center outside edge of the foot. The plan is to bike to Esporta later this afternoon and cut down on the treadmill.

Watched 'Licorice Pizza' (Amazon Prime). The film is a love story set in early 70's Los Angeles between a teenage actor/hustler and his slightly older girlfriend and stars Alana Haim (part of the sister/rock group 'HAIM') and Cooper Hoffman (son of Philip Seymour Hoffman). Based on the professional career of American film and television producer, Gary Goetzman.   He was a childhood actor, started a waterbed company and a  pinball arcade. He also is the co-founder of the production company Playtone with actor Tom Hanks. The soundtrack was a deep dive into 70's music by RADIOHEAD guitarist Jonny Greenwood. '90 METASCORE'; Nominated for 3 Oscars; 58 wins & 185 nominations. A true gem of a film!

Watched about 40" more of 'DELHI CRIME' (Netflix).

1130am: PC is 'Off' and will bike to Esporta for a workout. 

 1155am: Esporta. 45" Cross (no arms). 45"Treadmill (slower speed, re-download Prime Video). 30"Cross. 30"Bike. 30"Cross (no arms) and watched more of 'DELHI CRIME' (Amazon Prime), finished J.R.E with 2 English conservatives, and finished a WHISKEY GINGER. 

430pm:  In the tub with 'JACK & JILL' and listening to 'SPOOKY TOOTH'; CHARLES BRADLEY.

Took a chance and began 'INCANTATION' (Netflix). Netflix says this is a mockumentary, but to me it seems more like 'lost footage'. Did some searching for a new watch, but nada and shut the film down with 47" left to go. Not sure if I'll finish this one.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Not bad, but close, however excellent and creative charcoal drawings as the 'hints' to Eckhart's character. Th 10/2/25- WYNK

 Th 10/2/25 8am (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse). 10am (1-B: Citrus Mac). 1220pm (2-LB: Citrus Mac). 535pm (1-LB: Citrus Mac). 810pm (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse).  Up 715am: {took a dump at 4am}. Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80". Borrowed 'HOLY COW' and 'TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH' from Hoopla to meet my quota for September. Watched 'HOLY COW' (Hoopla). A troubled teen and his young sister try to make a go of it on their farmstead dairy after their father dies. It's got a strange tone and far from an average 'coming of age' tale. Set in far eastern France near the rural villages of Pimorin and Orgelet which are about 75 miles west of Geneva, Switzerland.
