Noticed this on Reddit: "West Virginia legislator tries to end child support because it might encourage women to get abortions".

Watched 'THE MARIJUANA CONSPIRACY' (Hoopla). A flawed film about a most intriguing subject. In 1972 the Canadian government commissioned a study on the effects of cannabis use. Twenty women were impounded for 98 days with no contact with the outside world. Ten of the women smoked large and small amounts of marijuana nightly and the other ten remained clean and sober. The results of the study were never made public and probably not even completed. I would have really liked to see the actual findings and it was no surprise that they only began the study with the hope that it would prove the detrimental effects of weed.

Watched the first half of 'SOUNDS OF THE WEST- TECHNO, DUB'N'BASS, DUB OUT WEST' (54" documentary-Kanopy). Dull, and part 2 might not happen. 

1045am: PC is 'Off' and will do the Weekly Cleaning and then take the bike to Esporta for a workout. 

1205pm:  To Esporta. I noticed a bit of 'runner's knee' yesterday so I decided to change today's workout.  45" Cross-no arms. 45"Treadmill. 30" Cross. 30" Bike. 30"  Cross-no arms, watched the rest of 'THE GLORIAS' (NETFLIX)- This was my least favorite Alicia Vikander film, but it was still very good, WHITNEY CUMMINGS on J.R.E, and TIM DILLON on WHISKEY GINGER. 

430pm: In the tub with NELSON ALGREN and listening to MASSIVE ATTACK.

Watched 'A SOUL JOURNEY' (Hoopla). This is an Italian documentary about the Porretta Soul Festival which is a musical showcase begun by a fan of Stax/Volt Records over thirty-five years ago. These musicians can barely get gigs in America, but in this northern Italian city they are treated like stars.  

Watched about twenty minutes of 'AFROBEATS: THE BACKSTORY- The New New Sound & the Fusion of African Music' (Netflix). This stuff is only about 'OK' and I prefer music to have a bit more edge to it.

I first thought that they were for the house across the street, but it looks like the action is farther down the road. Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
