Up 550am: Partly cloudy with temps to about 80. More cool weather.

***Around 7am. I noticed Bob and Carol loading their Volvo with suitcases. The old woman across the street seems to be in charge of their house. 

Watched Netflix disc 'A TIME TO KILL'. The movie is over two hours and you turn the disc over and reinsert to watch the last half of the film (Side 1- Side2). This must be an ancient disc because this is a first for me. I wonder how many people watched 'Side 1' and just sent it back. 

The film is set in the early 60's in rural Mississippi and concerns a black man who murders two white men after they violently attacked and raped his young daughter . At the end of the movie he is found innocent, but I think they should have found him guilty of murder, but sentenced to time served. How could they say he was innocent when he committed the fatal shooting in front of dozens of witnesses? The movie is more of a morality tale than a believable courtroom drama; with Matthew McConaughey, Sandra Bullock, Samuel L. Jackson, Kevin Spacey, Oliver Platt, Donald Sutherland, Kiefer Sutherland, Patrick McGohan, Ashley Judd, Chris Cooper, and Octavia Spencer. 

Since I have to mail back the disc I decided to visit FitClub West and drop the disc at the Walgreens PO box on the way. I called and they have free wifi, so what the heck? It's been the first time in over two years. 

1040am: PC is 'Off' and preparing to visit my past. 

11am: To Walgreens/ FitClub:  1120am- "Cross.  45"Treadmill. 30"Cross (no arms)... Saw Larry Pemberton... 30" Treadmill.  30"Cross and watched a JOEY'S JOINT and J.R.E. 

250pm: Reading 'JACK & JILL'

 Mahatma Gandhi - 'What do you think of Western Civilization'..."I think it could be a good idea".

425pm: In the tub with 'JACK & JILL' and listening to 'PAUL BUTTERFIELD BAND- 1965- 1980'.

More of 'A MODEL FAMILY' (Netflix). My interest is waning but I did order a watch from Amazon for $32. Green/ water resistant/ lights up. Gave up on this Korean series and went back to watching Rich Benoit on J.R.E. And, I located a perfect YouTube video about my outside right foot pain. I'll have to read more about this injury and what to do about it.

Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
