Up 550am: Cloudy with temps to low 80's.

***Yesterday evening I noticed that the real estate tax was due today so that means a walk to the county building after the morning movie. Apparently the head cold had a negative effect on my memory. 

Watched 'TWO FOR THE MONEY' (Peacock-TV). A fairly interesting film about Sports Betting. It's not really gambling because all they are doing is selling 'picks' and what you do with them is your own business. Far from great, but still worth a look; with Matthew McConaughey, Al Pacino, Rene Russo, Jeremy Piven, and Armand Assante.

945am: Preparing for a walk downtown to the county building. I don't even feel close to 100% but I hope it makes me feel better. 

1015am: To downtown; Out Edwards and back. Downstairs window still closed and of course I set off the metal detector.  I had to take my belt off...TWO HOURS AND 10 MINUTES...BLOODWYN PIG; 'Save Our Parks'- J.R.E.

355pm:  TWO MILES AT 4.0 PACE AND ZERO SLANT and watched more of 'Protect Our Parks' on J.R.E. 

445: In the tub with THE COFFEE TRADER' and listening to Colosseum.

Watched the first two episodes of 'DEVIL IN OHIO' (Netflix). So Dumb It's Fun. A Canadian series set in Ohio yet filmed in Canada. 

***Buddy did not eat his last plate of food. Most unusual and it was still there on

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer.  Th 10/2/25 8am (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse). 10am (1-B: Citrus Mac). 1220pm (2-LB: Citrus Mac). 535pm (1-LB: Citrus Mac). 810pm (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse).  Up 715am: {took a dump at 4am}. Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80". Borrowed 'HOLY COW' and 'TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH' from Hoopla to meet my quota for September. Watched 'HOLY COW' (Hoopla). A troubled teen and his young sister try to make a go of it on their farmstead dairy after their father dies. It's got a strange tone and far from an average 'coming of age' tale.
