***This morning I noticed that Buddy had thrown up in the tub last night. I think I just gave him too much on his last feeding. He seems fine today (so far). He rests most of the day but is still very active when it's time for more 9-Lives/ Friskies.

Watched 'SWEET THING' (Kanopy). A brother and sister meet a young black boy and they become friends. They are from the lowest economic class and a complete lack of positive adult role models allow them to run wild. And when mom's boyfriend tries something sexual with her little brother they are forced run for real; with Lana Rockwell, Nico Rockwell, and Will Patton. Directed by Alexandre Rockwell. From Variety:
"A lively, bittersweet meditation on an impoverished childhood that is still rich in innocence and imagination, it feels old-fashioned in a way that does not quite gel with its bid for contemporary grit". 4 wins & 5 nominations. The name of the film is from Van Morrison's song 'Sweet Thing' and it's featured in the movie.
