Up 545am: Cloudy and much cooler with temps only to mid 70's. 

Since I didn't do the Weekly Cleaning yesterday, I got it out of the way the first thing this morning. 

Buddy seems to be back to normal. He wolfed down his food and seems totally OK.

Watched 'BRIGHTON ROCK' (Kanopy). A brilliant adaptation of the novel by Graham Greene, however Greene's novel is set in the 1930's and the film takes place during the 'Mod vs. Rockers' clashes in Brighton during the early 1960's. Pinkie is a small-time hoodlum who becomes involved with an innocent girl who could testify to his involvement in two murders. A fantastic ending! In the final 'battle between Good & Evil' Pinkie is disfigured by acid spilled on his face and then he falls off a cliff.  Rose, his 'girlfriend/ wife', never learns that he was only using her all along. A voice recording skips just after he says 'I Love You' and she never hears the rest of his hateful message; with Sam Riley, Andrea Riseborough, Andy Serkis, John Hurt, and Helen Mirren.

1125am: Preparing for a walk on the treadmill.

 1145am:  FIVE MILES AT 4.0 PACE AND ZERO SLANT and watched another episode of 'I AM A KILLER' (NETFLIX) - Guy shoots his wife dead then messes up his suicide. 45,000 shootings in the US annually and only 500 are accidental, and more of RYAN SICKLER on BERTCAST. 

Weights- 3 sets/ 15 reps.

355pm:  TWO MILES AT 4.0 PACE AND ZERO SLANT and watched more of RYAN SICKLER on BERTCAST. 

450pm:  In the tub with 'THE COFFEE TRADER' and listening to 'Gimme Some Neck'- RON WOOD; 'Faces- 1970-1975: You Can Make Me Dance...' (Rhino). 

Watched more of 'THE DEVIL IN OHIO' (Netflix). Only one more episode to go and I'm looking forward to the ending. Is Mae a 'good' character? I can't wait to see the YouTube videos about the series.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Not bad, but close, however excellent and creative charcoal drawings as the 'hints' to Eckhart's character.  Th 10/2/25 8am (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse). 10am (1-B: Citrus Mac). 1220pm (2-LB: Citrus Mac). 535pm (1-LB: Citrus Mac). 810pm (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse).  Up 715am: {took a dump at 4am}. Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80". Borrowed 'HOLY COW' and 'TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH' from Hoopla to meet my quota for September. Watched 'HOLY COW' (Hoopla). A troubled teen and his young sister try to make a go of it on their farmstead dairy after their father dies. It's got a strange tone and far from an average 'coming of age' tale. Set in far eastern France near the rural villages of Pimorin and Orgelet which are about 75 miles west of Geneva, Switzerland.
