Up 530am: Mostly sunny with temps to low 80's. 

Watched 'GONE GIRL' (Peacock-TV). I had forgotten how good this movie was and it's probably because Gillian Flynn wrote the novel and the screenplay. Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross did the music: "...came from the unsettling experience of Fincher at the chiropractor's place and the music heard was 'inauthentically trying to make him feel alright'. When 'Amy' cuts her ex-boyfriend's throat when they are having sex is one of the bloodiest scenes I've ever seen and I had completely forgotten about it. And, at the end of the film Nick believes he must stay with Amy 'for the sake of their unborn child'; with Ben Affleck, Rosamund Pike, Neil Patrick Harris, Tyler Perry, Carrie Coon and Kim Dickens.

1010am: PC is 'Off' and the plan is to do an early workout at Planet Fitness and mow the lawn later this afternoon. 

1045am:  To Planet Fitness. 45"Cross.  45"Treadmill. 30"Bike. 30"Treadmill.  30"Cross,  finished an episode of 'IN THE DARK' (NETFLIX), two episodes of 'THE WORLD'S WORST CRIMINALS (NETFLIX) - Mexico's Sinaloa cartel boss, Russia's biggest crime lord, and ALEX BERENSON on J.R.E.

5pm: In the tub with 'THE CITY' and listening to SYNOVIAL JOINTS; BLODWYN PIG. 

Watched 'GRASS IS GREENER' (Netflix). I had seen this one not too long ago and it was well worth a second look. Racist Harry Anslinger; 3 Strikes & You're Fucked. Mezz Mezzrow jazz musician and Harlem Pot Dealer to The Stars of Jazz. LaGuardia had a government study in the fifties that vindicated cannabis and made it clear that the negativity was far more political than scientific.  

'Synovial Joints'- excellent jazz album that I need to know the group and their history.

I first thought that they were for the house across the street, but it looks like the action is farther down the road. Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
