***Buddy ate most of the food that I left on his plate last night. He ate again at 615am and I hope he keeps it down.

Chance of showers all day with temps to mid 70's. Rain is in the forecast through Wednesday.

11am: Buddy has eaten almost a half can of '9 LIVES' and it looks like he's back to normal. He doesn't act as famished, but he eats the serving without vomiting.

Began Netflix disc 'THE HANDMAID'S TALE' (it arrived in the mail late yesterday). A powerful series and I watched the first three and a half hours in one sitting; with Elisabeth Moss, Joseph Fiennes, Ann Dowd, and Samira Wiley. Won 15 Primetime Emmys; 82 wins & 267 nominations.

1130am: I normally do the Weekly Cleaning but since I'm running behind, I will postpone till tomorrow. I want to stop at the vitamin store after the workout at Planet Fitness.... "Ordinary" is only what you're used to, and soon this will become "Ordinary"..."Don't let the bastards grind you down, bitches".   

1215pm:  To Planet Fitness. 45"Cross.  45"Treadmill 

 30"Bike.  30"Treadmill.  30"Cross and watched 'I AM A KILLER' (NETFLIX), and finished 'DELHI CRIME' (NETFLIX)- season 2, and more of 'SAVE OUR PARKS' on J.R.E.

440pm: In the tub with 'THE COFFEE TRADER' and listening to BLODWYN PIG- 'ALL SAID AND DONE'.

Began 'IN THE DARK' (Netflix). I watched the first two and a half episodes and it's set in Chicago and very different. A blind female slacker with a love of impersonal sex and plenty of booze tries to find the killer of a young street hustler who saved her life. Very odd yet strangely fascinating

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'.  Th 10/2/25 8am (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse). 10am (1-B: Citrus Mac). 1220pm (2-LB: Citrus Mac). 535pm (1-LB: Citrus Mac). 810pm (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse).  Up 715am: {took a dump at 4am}. Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80". Borrowed 'HOLY COW' and 'TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH' from Hoopla to meet my quota for September. Watched 'HOLY COW' (Hoopla). A troubled teen and his young sister try to make a go of it on their farmstead dairy after their father dies. It's got a strange tone and far from an average 'coming of age' tale.
