Watched the Netflix disc 'RED ROCKET'. A very low budget Independent about an ex-porn star who returns to Texas City, TX after trying to make it in the Adult Entertainment Industry. His ex-wife (technically they are still married) and her mother reluctantly give him a place to stay and he makes money by selling weed. He thinks he's found his ticket back to Los Angeles when he sees a potential porn co-star in 'Strawberry', the seventeen year old high school girl who works at the local Donut Hole. Kitchen Sink Realism with a mix of actors and non-actors.  Sean Baker (dir.) was also a writer on 'TANGERINE', 'THE FLORIDA PROJECT', and 'STARLET'.

1155am: PC is 'Off' and preparing for a walk to the Monroe PO to mail back the disc. 

1135am: To Monroe PO...Out Edwards back Governor...ONE HOUR AND 45 MINS...'THE ALLMAN BROTHERS BAND Live at the Fillmore East' and SAM MORRIL.

355pm: TWO MILES AT 4.0 PACE AND ZERO SLANT and watched more of SAM MORRIL on J.R.E. 

445pm: In the tub with 'FALSE MEMORY' and listening to THE GRACHAN MOCUR III OCTET; AC/ DC- 'Highway To Hell'.

Watched 'THE PHOTOGRAPHER: MURDER IN  PINAMAR' (Netflix). An Argentinian photographer is found shot in the head and handcuffed in his burning car outside of Buenos Aires. Was it the police, the government, or an elusive billionaire? I shut it down with forty minutes left and I hope that a definitive answer is revealed.  

Watched some of  'Something's Burning- Bobby Lee & Mark Normand make 'KimCheeseBurgers' with Bert Kriescher on YouTube.

I first thought that they were for the house across the street, but it looks like the action is farther down the road. Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
