Up 540am: Bright and sunny with temps to mid 60's. Some frost last night- first of the season. 

Watched 'WHITE BIRD IN A BLIZZARD' (Crackle-TV).  It begins as a tale of a bitter marriage about to implode and changes into something more troubling and compelling to their teenage daughter. Mom has hated dad since the early days of their marriage and then sixteen years later, mom goes missing. SHOCKING REVELATION: Dad was having a sexual affair with the boy next door who just happened to be his daughter's boyfriend.  For years Dad hid the body in the basement freezer and when his crime was finally discovered he hung himself in jail. Like nothing else, and I really liked the film; with Shailene Woodley, Eva Green, Cristopher Meloni, Angela Bassett, Shiloh Fernandez, Gabourey Sidibe, and Thomas Jane.  Interesting late 80's soundtrack; Psychedelic Furs, Depeche Mode, New Order, The Cure, Soft Cell, Pet Shop Boys.

More 'DAHMER' (Netflix). I shut it down with 30 minutes left to go in episode #7.

1130am: PC is 'Off' and preparing for a walk to the bookstore on the square to see if I can find a birthday gift for Bo. 

1215pm: To downtown. Out Governor and back Edwards. Beatrix Potter/ Tim Cahill: $13...  TWO HOURS....' Silent Way'- MILES DAVIS;  FACES - Live 1971, London. 

405pm:  TWO MILES AT 4.0 PACE AND ZERO SLANT and more of JORDAN PETERSON on J.R.E. 

455pm:  In the tub with: THE HANDMAID'S TALE' and listening to GRATEFUL DEAD Live Playlist; PARLIAMENT FUNKADELIC Playlist. 

Watched 'THE ISLE' (Amazon Prime). A low budget Independent that's a somewhat clumsy mix of Horror and Folk Tale. Three sailors are shipwrecked on a tiny island off the coast of Scotland. Something strange has happened to the people of the island and a strange force prevents anyone from leaving. I suppose it's loosely based on the Greek myth of Persephone. Set in 1841 although the costumes were not even close to convincing. Nice effort but no cigar.

I first thought that they were for the house across the street, but it looks like the action is farther down the road. Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
