735am (B). 1040am (2-SB). 1235pm (2-B). 350pm (1-SB). 445pm (2-SB). 640pm (B).
Up 6am: Partly sunny and windy with temps to upper 70's.
I did the Weekly Cleaning as soon as I got up.
Watched Netflix disc 'THE HANDMAID'S TALE- Season 2; disc 4. This is the last disc of Season 2 and June/Offred has her chance to escape but she chooses to stay. In the final scene she looks as if she might be plotting to launch a revolt against the entire State of Gilead by herself. I want more...'One cannot let the perfect be the enemy of the good'...'Under His Eyes'. There were less than twenty minutes of Bonus Features but I'm glad they decided to interview the costume designer. Her designs and color choices really make the 'world of Gilead' come to life.
Watched more of 'THE KILLING' (Amazon Prime). The murdered girl's passport is found by her young brother in the basement of the house that her father was remodeling. Was dad connected to the murder? Is he a closet racist because his daughter was running away with a man of a different race?
1120am: PC is 'Off' and will do "3/sets at 15/reps" and then walk downtown to the Monroe PO to mail back the discs.
***I couldn't find the white ear buds and I thought that I had lost them when I mailed the moccasins. After I got back from the walk I remembered that I left them in my workout shorts and not the sweat pants.
1240pm: To Monroe PO. Out Governor & back Monroe to Walnut (they're building a huge parking garage west of the Capitol along Monroe), back Governor...ONE HOUR AND 45 MINUTES...HOWLING WOLF & Eric Clapton & THE STONES, and began a J.R.E about an Innocent Project.
Reading '10,000 SAINTS'
350pm: TWO MILES AT 4.0 PACE AND ZERO SLANT and more of an Innocent Project on J.R.E.
450pm: In the tub with '10,000 SAINTS' and listening to 'The Art of the Improvisers'- ORNETTE COLEMAN.
Watched 'THE DESCENDANTS' (Netflix). The Clotilda slave ship arrived in Mobile, AL in 1860 with 160 Africans that were sold into slavery. The ship was burned and the slaves from Africa were able to establish a thriving community called 'Africatown'. Today, descendants of the original slaves are seeking some form of reparation. Shot on location.
