***PC required a 'restart'. I wonder why? It was not 'Patch Tuesday'.

I watched the last disc of  Season 3 of 'THE HANDMAID'S TALE' (Netflix). The season ends with June/Offred being carried out of the woods by Handmaids after being shot while creating a diversion so that the planeload of kids could make it safely into Canada. A Bonus Feature of ten minutes explains Jun/Offred's change in her relationship to Gilead. At first she wants to be a part of the resistance yet soon she wants to head the resistance. 

Watched more of 'DEADWIND' (Netflix).  I finished episode #8 and only two more remain. I'm only lukewarm on this series, still good, but...

1130am: PC is 'Off' and the plan is to do the weights and then hit Planet Fitness to mail back the disc. After the workout I want to visit the Dollar Store and get more Diet Ginger Ale and Coke for Thanksgiving.

The Army refused independent inquiry and wanted to keep it that way; finished NEAL BRENNAN on J.R.E.; more of ANDY PARTRIDGE interview on YouTube. 

Soda at Dollar General; Diet Mountain Dew/ Coke (Thanksgiving).

445pm:  In the tub with 'PRIVATE SCREENING' and listening to THE DUKES OF THE STRATOSPHERE; ROBYN HITCHCOCK & THE EGYPTIANS. 

****When I booted up the downstairs PC I was expecting to 'restart', but it did not require a restart. Why upstairs but not downstairs?

Watched the first episode of Season #1 'NIGHTMARE IN SUBURBIA' (Amazon Prime). In 1988 a young mother in South Wales, UK  was tricked into giving her baby to a woman who wanted to steal the child.  After a massive search, the woman was found and the child was returned to the parents. Then I watched ten minutes into episode #2- 'Death For Dinner'.

Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
