 Mo 11/21/22- Power Outage!

845am (B). 1030am (2-B). 455pm (B). 650pm (B). 

Up 530am: Bright and sunny with temps to about 50.

***645am: Power Out! I heard a bang and then No Juice. I called City Water Light & Power and left a message.

705am: To Washington Park, southside, Walnut, northside, up the hill, Parkview, Fairway, and up to 940...ONE HOUR AND 15 MINUTES.  No music, no weed. The power was back on when I returned and I don't know how long it was off. This is the first time that the power has gone out since I got the new computers/ router/modem. I'm glad to see there are no problems with the reboot, although I needed to manually turn on the speaker bar.  

I watched the last two episodes of  season 1, 'DEADWIND' (Netflix). I really liked the Sophia character but the story was intentionally made too complex with far too many red herrings and false positives. I'll leave this in the queue and start season 2 at a later date. 

Then more of 'THE DEVIL'S HOUR' (Amazon Prime). Shut it down 23" into episode #3. This is a 'thinking person's' mystery and very well written...'Remembering the future'. 

12pm: PC is 'Off' and will continue on the treadmill. 

1210pm:  FIVE MILES AT 4.0 PACE AND ZERO SLANT and more of 'THE DEVIL'S HOUR' (Amazon Prime) with 20 minutes left of episode #4; more of 'WHISKEY GINGER. 

Weights:  3 sets/ 15 reps. 

Reading 'BREATHING THE SAME AIR'.

4pm: TWO MILES AT 4.0 PACE AND ZERO SLANT and finished CHISTINA P. on WHISKEY GINGER. 

5pm:  In the tub with 'BREATHING THE SAME AIR' and listening to STEVE COLEMAN & THE 5 ELEMENTS; XTC- 'Fossil Fuel'.

I watched more of 'THE DEVIL'S HOUR' (Amazon Prime). I shut it down at 8 minutes left in episode #5 and only an hour remains. I'm gonna miss this one. 

Remembered to send 'The Chat' and just a short note about the power outage and confirmed the time as 2pm on Thursday in Sherman. 

I finished reading the eBook, 'BREATHING THE SAME AIR' by Andrew M. Stafford.

Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
