Up 620am: Thanks, Buddy! Late last night we got a dusting of snow and today temps will reach the upper 20's and snow showers are expected with no additional ground coverage. 

Watched 'BELLEVILLE COP' (Netflix). A rather bland 'Buddy/ Cop' film about a cop from the Belleville area of Paris who tries to break up a drug trafficking operation connected to a children's charity. He's sent to Miami and is teamed with a detective who is given the assignment as punishment. Mayhem ensues.  Omar Sy is an affable character and his performance is worth a look. The film is set mostly  in Paris, France and Miami, Florida; with Omar Sy and Luis Guzman (Guzman is looking very unhealthy and about fifty pounds overweight). 'Belleville' is an artsy area northeast of Paris. 

Dropped a quick note to Janny about what a great time I had last night. ''Buddy Mug" is on the mantle and not to be used for drinking!

Watched 'THE LAST FOREST' (Netflix). Award winning docu-drama set in the Amazon rainforest. These forest dwellers have lived in this same area for five hundred years before there were countries.  Shut it down at 42 minutes with twenty left to go. 

1145am: PC is 'Off' and the plan is to visit Esporta then hit Schnucks for more Friskies.

***Forgot earbuds, but I had a spare in the glove box. That spare has been a lifesaver on a number of occasions. 

1245pm: Esporta...45" Precor.  45"Treadmill.  30" Precor.  30" Bike. 30" Cross;  watched 20" of a DOUG STANHOPE set; an episode of 'NIGHTMARE IN SUBURBIA' (Amazon Prime)- A dominatrix murders her lover with the help of a couple of her 'slaves'; a few episodes of 'FLINT TOWN' (Amazon Prime)- A city with low resources and zero community support; began a JOEY'S JOINT. 

Schnucks: Bought a 32 pack of Friskies pate which was hidden on the lowest shelf and way in the back.

505pm: In the tub with 'DA VINCI CODE' and listening to MILES DAVIS; JAMES CHANCE & THE CONTORTIONS; 'Rid of Me'- P.J. Harvey. 

Began 'THE KINGDOM' (Netflix).  A somewhat bland political thriller with a dash of evangelical religion set in contemporary Argentina. I watched the first two episodes and it's anyone's guess if I will complete eight more.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Not bad, but close, however excellent and creative charcoal drawings as the 'hints' to Eckhart's character. We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
