Up 555am: The season's first 'major blizzard' is expected to begin late this morning with 2"-4" of snow and wind gusts as high as 50 mph and wind chills far below zero. At 7am it was 31 degrees, but by early this afternoon the temperature will drop to single digits. 

***About 9am it began sleeting and the wind picked up considerably. A dusting of snow/sleet is mostly just on the street, so far. Looks like it will hit hard about 1pm and continue till about 5pm.

Watched 'THE INFORMER' (Netflix). I had seen this one before, but it was well worth a second look.  A man is let out of prison for murder to work undercover for the FBI. He's trying to infiltrate a Polish mafia gang making moves in NYC. However,  when he is present during the murder of an undercover cop, the FBI cuts all ties; with Joel Kinnaman, Rosamund Pike, Common, Ana de Armas, and Clive Owen. 

Began 'EARTHSTORM' (Netflix). Earthquake'- The planet is covered by fifteen 'plates' which float on the mantle of the earth which is liquid. California's western coast is a border for one of the plates and Japan is located on the epicenter of 5 plates.   

***11am: The temperature has dropped to 11 degrees and the wind is gusting to 20 mph from the northwest. Fine, gritty snow is falling and it's sticking mostly to the street. 

1145am: PC is 'Off' and preparing for a walk on the treadmill.

12pm: FIVE MILES AT 4.0 PACE AND ZERO SLANT and finished THEO VON'S Xmas; began JOE ROGAN on ANDREW SCHULZ. 

Weights: 3 sets/ 15 reps

Began reading 'THE DA VINCI CODE' by Dan Brown and listened to 'Cruel Country'- WILCO.   

355pm:  TWO MILES AT 4.0 PACE AND ZERO SLANT and watched more MARK BOAL on J.R.E. 

450pm: In the tub with 'THE DA VINCI CODE' and listening to THE WHO- 'The Who Sell Out'; 'Who Came First'- PETE TOWNSEND. 

Watched a 20 minute YouTube NBC video about Q-Anon.

Watched 'COMEDY CONFESSIONS' (Kanopy). A profile of three aspiring LA comedians who lived in their cars while pursuing the dream of making a living as a comedian; Tiffany Haddish, Doc Jones, and Steven Lolli.

*** 10am: changed furnace filter for the first time this year.
