Wrote up 'GRAY MATTERS'  by William Hjortsberg for the blog. 

Watched 'THE SQUARE' (Amazon Prime). A Swedish museum director champions and encourages 'Art' with a capital 'A', but is he just messing with the public's collective unconsciousness? The movie is a collection of scenes that examine the premise; Ex.- 1) An 'ape' at a black tie dinner,  2) A lecture on 'Art' with a man with Tourette's Syndrome screaming obscenities, 3) The ultimate pickpocket scam-  a woman screams 'help' but it's just a ruse to steal wallets, phones, and 'grandfather's cufflinks', 4) A baboon in the bedroom; with Claes Bang, Dominic West, Christopher Laesso, and Elisabeth Moss. Nominated for 1 Oscar; 34 wins & 44 nominations.  

Then more of 'RICHES' (Amazon Prime). I shut it down 23 minutes into episode #5 and I'll finish the series tonight. 

1130am: PC is 'Off' and the plan is to do the weights and then walk to Heartland to deposit the twenty dollar rebate check from Aetna.

Weights:  3 sets/  15 reps.

340pm:  TWO MILES AT 4.0 PACE AND ZERO SLANT and began YANNIS PAPPAS with TOM SEGURA. 

440pm:  In the tub with 'CASS TIMBERLANE' and listening to Early KINKS Playlist; THE ALLMAN BROTHERS: The Fillmore-1972 Playlist. 

Finished 'RICHES' (Amazon Prime). A great series and a fantastic reason to have another season. So many new plot points were revealed in the last ten minutes of the final episode. The Internet says 'no firm commitment', but I would be willing to bet that season 2 gets the green light.

I first thought that they were for the house across the street, but it looks like the action is farther down the road. Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
