Watched 'COSTA BRAVA LEBANON' (Netflix). A couple and their two daughters escape the turmoil of Beirut, Lebanon and begin to enjoy a new life in the country but then the government installs a landfill on the edge of their new property. An unlikely storyline, but a warm and engaging look at a family dealing with omnipotent civilian authority. 81 Metascore: 6 wins & 12 nominations.

1025am: The city picked up my branch pile. I should have cut down the branch by the garage

Watched more of 'IN THE NAME OF GOD: Holy Betrayal' (Netflix).  More about the horny Korean pastor and all of this occurred years before 'The Me Too' movement. Shut it down 23 minutes into episode #3.

1125am: PC is 'Off' and the plan is to do the weights and then spend the afternoon at Esporta.

One of the girls in the ring was on a reality TV show with her mother & sister when the case went to trial; more of SHANE GILLIS on BERTCAST.

Began 'THE GLORY' (Netflix).  I shut this down after about 20 minutes and filed it in the 'Netflix/ Amazon- Ended But Not Forgotten' folder; (Email Drafts). Then began 'AFRICAN QUEENS: Njinga' (Netflix) and then nixed a couple more foreign series.

Began 'BROKEN - Makeup Mayhem' (Netflix). 50 minutes on the explosion of demand in the cosmetics industry. Influencers call the tune and manufacturers link with customers on social media and honest manufacturers make slightly less product than required to inflate demand. Dishonest manufacturers use harmful ingredients if they are cheaper and there are few laws involving what can be used in most cosmetics.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Not bad, but close, however excellent and creative charcoal drawings as the 'hints' to Eckhart's character. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
