Up 530am: Partly sunny with temps to 50's. This morning we still had an inch of snow covering the ground and as the sun shined stronger (7am- 8am) there was a hazy fog/mist against a backdrop of a blue sky throughout The Oaks. 

Watched 'THE WOMAN KING' (Netflix). Some outstanding machete fighting, but not much else; with Viola Davis. The film is set in 1823 and concerns the slave trade in Dahomey Africa. Dahomey was a precolonial West African kingdom located in what is now southern Benin. Filmed at Thanda Safari- Hluhluwe, South Africa.

345pm:  TWO MILES AT 4.0 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; began RUSSELL BRAND on J.R.E. 

Picked up fallen branches in the front yard and added to the street branch pile and a few large pine branches are still out back.

455pm:  In the tub with 'THIRD DEGREE' and listening to WAYNE SHORTER; Early MOTT THE HOOPLE Playlist.

Began Netflix disc 'BODIES BODIES BODIES'. An interesting take on the 'Teen Scream' genre that is darkly funny and paranoid simultaneously.  Shut it down at 52 minutes and will finish it tomorrow morning after The Morning Movie .

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Not bad, but close, however excellent and creative charcoal drawings as the 'hints' to Eckhart's character. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
