***A couple of days ago a house on the other side of the street (almost to Kenyon) had a complete landscape make-over; trees and hedges trimmed, bushes cut back, leaves raked.  The property looks 1,000% better and I wonder how many hundreds it cost, but it was worth every nickel. Today I noticed a 'For Sale' sign in front of the home. 

Up 550am: Overcast and intermittent periods of rain all day and night with temps to mid 50's.

Watched 'THE MAGNIFICENT SEVEN' (Amazon Prime). A town engages the help of 'Cowboy Samurais' to save their village from a ruthless mining developer. Murder, and mayhem follow. It's about what you would expect, although this film only rates a '54 Metascore whereas the 1960 version got a '74 Metascore; Denzel Washington, Chris Pratt, Ethan Hawke, Vincent D'Onofrio, and Peter Sarsgaard.

I had planned to hit Planet Fitness today, but I'm expecting a Netflix disc today and another should arrive on Friday, so I'll hit Planet Fitness tomorrow. Another treadmill workout for today.

Finished episode #5 & #6 of 'SWARM' (Amazon Prime). Only one chapter remains and the holes in the story are beginning to be tightened up. This is really a very different presentation and like nothing else. I have to see more films with Dominique Fishback. 

12pm: PC is 'Off' and preparing for a walk on the treadmill.

1225pm: FIVE MILES AT 4.0 PACE AND ZERO SLANT;  finished TAYLOR TOMLINSON on BERTCAST & SHANE GILLIS on J.R.E:  began a THEO VON. 

Weights:  3 sets/ 15 reps.

More of 'WRONG SIDE OF THE TRACKS' (Netflix). I shut it down 10 minutes into episode #4. I should have watched episodes from season #1 before I began season #2, but it still makes sense.  

***Where's check from Aetna? It was printed on 3/16, so I'll give it a few more days.

We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
