Watched 'HAIL, CAESAR! (Netflix). The film is a look at Hollywood in the early fifties as seen through the eyes of a studio head. He's got problems with 'The Talent' and 'The Commies' are about to 'Rewrite History'; Crazy Scenes: the (gay) sailors dance before they head out to sea (no dames), the pitch for 'the story of Jesus' to an assortment of clergy, a cowboy actor earnestly tries to portray a high society snob; with Josh Brolin, George Clooney, Alden Ehrenreich, Ralph Fiennes, Scarlett Johansson, Tilda Swinton, Channing Tatum, Frances McDormand, and Jonah Hill. Directed and written by The Cohen Brothers.
Watched 'THE INVISIBLE MAN' (Peacock-TV). A woman is physically and emotionally terrorized by her husband. He has a 'suit' that makes him invisible and he sets her up for mayhem and murder. In the end, she dons the suit and kills him, but how did she learn to operate such a complex piece of futuristic hardware? I guess the film is more a study of what it means to 'gaslight' someone in an abusive relationship. The intent is to make his victim believe that she is the one that is losing their mind. Elizabeth Moss carries it off because she's able to look terrified and in shock for nearly the entire film. A deft piece of cinematic storytelling and a cut above the original movie from the 1930's.

Continued 'WRONG SIDE OF THE TRACKS' (Netflix). I finished episode #2 and it feels like I'm on about episode #6 and a half because the episodes are so long. Great series and I'll re-watch season #1 on down the line.
