Mo 4/3/23- Toothache! 9am appointment
8am (1-B).1210pm (2-B). 440pm (2-B). 715pm (2-B).
***Buddy was sick and threw up all over the mat under his food and water dishes. He seems OK, but I wish I was going to be home all morning.
Up 6am after a very restless night.Partly sunny with temps to mid 70's.
Bob & Carol have returned. They've been gone for a couple of weeks and the woman across the street was keeping an eye on their home.
Wrote a brief 'Chat Wrap' about my toothache and the Easter party next Saturday at Red Oak.
***I called right as they opened and got a 9am appointment for a dentist that I haven't seen before. There is an alarming 'turn-over' rate at that dentist office. There are many more office workers than dentists. Strange.
I was going to begin 'CHARLIE WILSON'S WAR' (Netflix), but it's already 8am and I'd have to shut it down, so I'll just read before the appointment.
805am: PC is 'Off' and preparing for an emergency (?) trip to the dentist.
835am: To dentist
They referred me to an endodontist that is not covered by MetLife. I came home and will locate a dentist that is in the network. Trying Aspen Dental (on N. Dirksen in front of Menards; west side of the highway).
I finally got an appointment with Dr. Andrew Martens at 997 Clocktower, next to the gas station. But the appointment is not until April 11th at 140pm. I really don't know if I can sustain this level of pain for over a week. Maybe the antibiotics will help.
I can't get the new Altec bluetooth to turn on after charging all night. I'm sick of everything.
113am: PC is 'Off'. I don't know what the plan will be. At this level of pain for eight days seems a bit excessive.
1220pm: Wash.Pk/ County Market for antibiotics...Parkview, Wash.Pk southside, panhandle to MacArthur, Wash.Pk northside, Park, Monroe, County Market- antibiotics (free) & Anbesol, Washington and over to in front of McD's, Lawrence, Kenyon, and down to 940...ONE HOUR AND 50 MINUTES...finished RICK DOBLIN on J.R.E.
No weights
Read/ nap
I was able to pair the new Altec Hydra. You really have to lean on the 'On' button. The Baby Boom speaker didn't require this much force.
345pm: TWO MILES AT 4.0 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; finished SAM MORRIL on BLOCKS.
445pm: In the tub with 'THE WINNER' & first time for Altec Hydra and listening to WAYNE SHORTER Playlist; STONE TEMPLE PILOTS Playlist.
***After the bath I found some Ibuprofen in the medicine closet. It seems that Ibuprofen and antibiotics actually are effective. I feel much better.
Began DAVE SMITH & DOUG STANHOPE on BERTCAST.
Finished 'INFORMA' (Netflix). I still have no idea what the overall theme of this series was. Some interesting 'chop-socky' and tricky hand held camera work made it worth staying to the last episode.
