Up 520am: Cloudy and a little mist/rain through the morning and much cooler with temps only in the upper 60's.

***The rain gauge registered that just over three inches fell yesterday.

Watched 'HAYWIRE' (Amazon Prime). A female 'super-spy' learns that her boss and the government are out to kill her, but she turns the tables on them all. It has a nifty female heroine with a supreme knowledge of 'hand to hand', it's set in many interesting locations and offers a plausible yet crackling storyline; with Gina Carano (Womens MMA fighter), Ewan McGregor, Michael Fassbender, Channing Tatum, Michael Douglas, Antonio Banderas. 

Watched the rest of ' WHITNEY HOUSTON: I WANNA DANCE WITH SOMEBODY' (Netflix). The movie did chronicle Whitney's style and her concert costumes were identical to the clothes that she wore at the actual events. I can understand why she was so popular, but I think the entire genre sounds corny and far too romantic.  From a review at IMDB:

"Whitney Houston: I Wanna Dance With Somebody is yet another music biopic that feels like a checklist of events rather than riveting drama;  with Naomi Ackie as Whitney Houston and Stanley Tucci as Clive Davis.  

Wrote 'The Wrap' and mentioned my Melissa and Jamie 'sighting' on Tuesday.

I ran out of gas on 'EVERYTHING CALLS FOR SALVATION' (Netflix). A kind of an Italian 'One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest', but I just didn't care.

Began 'WELCOME TO EDEN' (Netflix). I shut it down 30 minutes into episode #2. The suspense is building and you still don't know why the five were picked or what they are going to do. I'll definitely watch more of this Spanish series.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
