Up 545am: Bright & sunny with temps to upper 70's.

Watched 'A MAN CALLED OTTO' (Netflix). A remake of a Swedish movie that was based on the novel by Fredrik Backman. A depressed man is planning suicide and is 'saved' by concerned neighbors. The flimsy premise still packs an emotional wallop. Filmed on location in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Brecksville, Ohio and Niagara Falls, US.  Tom Hanks plays 'Otto' and Tom Hanks' son plays Otto as a young man.

I tried a few minutes of 'MCGREGOR FOREVER' (Netflix) but I just didn't care about an MMA fighter.  Then did more of 'WELCOME TO EDEN' (Netflix). The details of the series are still shrouded in mystery. 

***Ordered another ten pounds of rice from Amazon.

1025am: The PC is 'Off' and the plan is to do the weights and then drive to Fairhills to buy more flowers for the front planters. Then, to Esporta for the workout.

Got a car wash at Green on Vets when I left Esporta and took Vets north and dried off the car and it looks great. 

Reading 'MISSING YOU'

5pm: In the tub with 'MISSING YOU' and listening to LOVE SCULPTURE'- 'Blues Helping'; SPOOKY TOOTH- 'It's All About'; DAVE EDMUNDS Playlist.

***Ordered 'SUM- 40 Tales From The Afterlives' by David Eagleman from Amazon Books. Andrew Santino  mentioned the book to Theo Von on WHISKEY GINGER.  

Decided to nix the rest of 'WELCOME TO EDEN' (Netflix).

Began 'THE FINAL SCORE' (Netflix). The Spanish title is  'GOLES EN CONTRA'  which translates in English to 'GOALS AGAINST'. Shut it down 8 minutes into episode #2. This one is hanging by a thread but the subject of 'cartel interference in Columbian national soccer' is great, but the execution is definitely lacking.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer.  Th 10/2/25 8am (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse). 10am (1-B: Citrus Mac). 1220pm (2-LB: Citrus Mac). 535pm (1-LB: Citrus Mac). 810pm (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse).  Up 715am: {took a dump at 4am}. Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80". A troubled teen and his young sister try to make a go of it on their farmstead dairy after their father dies. It's got a strange tone and far from an average 'coming of age' tale.
