Up 530am: Mostly sunny with temps only to about 80.
***At 830am Buddy was sick all over his rug by the breezeway. I fed him again at 905am and he wolfed it down and seemed like his regular self.
Watched 'A JAZZMAN'S BLUES' (Netflix). The film is set in 1947 from a flashback in the late 1980's. A woman enters a lawyer's office and demands that he investigate a murder that occurred in 1947 and basically the story concerns a young black man leaving the deep south for a Blues career in Chicago. The theme is that he loves a woman who is passing as white and has married a local rich and connected white man. It's a melodramatic racial soap opera that offers an interesting perspective, but the music couldn't be more tepid and tame. Written and directed by Tyler Perry. "62" Metascore.
More 'THE DAYS' (Netflix). Shut it down 30" into episode #3. I will have to check out what another source has to say about the incident.
1115am: PC is 'Off' and preparing to use the treadmill. The plan is to hit a health club tomorrow and miss the rain on Sunday.
1145am: FIVE MILES AT 4.0 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; watched a complete TUESDAYS WITH STORIES; more of TREVOR WALLACE on THEO VON.
Weights: 3 sets/ 15 reps
***Cleaned both bongs.
Reading 'CONFEDERATES'
345pm: TWO MILES AT 4.0 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; more of TREVOR WALLACE on THEO VON.
440pm: In the tub with 'CONFEDERATES' and listening to JACK BRUCE & ROBIN TROWER Live; TOMMY BOLIN Playlist.
I read for fifteen minutes and finished 'CONFEDERATES'. The best novel of the Civil War that I've ever read.
Watched JOE ROGAN talking with a guy about UFO's and the evidence of their visits that have been covered up by the US government.
Began 'MIXED BY ERRY' (Netflix). I don't understand what these Italian guys were doing. Making 'singles tapes' and selling them but neglecting to pay the artists? At first I thought that the operation was along the lines of 'ROIR CASSETTES' but 'ROIR' compensated their artists and the music was released on cassette rather than vinyl or CD. I shut it down 102 minutes into the film. It's a strange and quirky film and I'll finish it tomorrow morning.
