***I noticed that Buddy had gotten sick sometime last night just off the tile by the front door. He seems fine this morning and wolfing down the food. 

Around 3pm Buddy threw up again for no apparent reason, but once again, he seems normal and eating normally.  

Up 520am: Partly cloudy with temps to upper 80's.

***645am: Took the last 2 edibles: 10 mg total. No reason except to see what a low dosage would do. 

Watched Netflix disc 'TIN MEN' (music by 'The Fine Young Cannibals').  In broad strokes the film is a wry look at the amoral and unprincipled sales staff at an aluminum siding company in Baltimore, Maryland during the early sixties.  It's the 'GLENGARRY GLEN ROSS' of the aluminium siding industry. A guy backs out of the dealership after buying a Cadillac and hits a passing motorist. The minor fender bender triggers a massive change in both men's lives. I really liked this film and I don't think I'd seen it before; with Richard Dreyfuss, Danny DeVito, Barbara Hershey, John Mahoney, Seymour Cassel, Bruno Kirby, and J.T. Walsh. Directed by Barry Levinson. "75" Metascore.

Finished 'DINNER RUSH' (Amazon Prime). A truly enjoyable film with a great ending. The hoods get gunned down by a 'Wallstreet' hitman who was contracted by the owner of the restaurant.

1045am: PC is 'Off' and the plan is to do the weights and then walk downtown to mail back the Netflix disc.

Reading & finished 'BLOOD HUNT' by Ian Rankin and began 'CHILDWOLD' by JOYCE CAROL OATES.

Began 'THE MULE' (Netflix). I shut it down at 1 hr and 2 minutes. My flowers (Daylilies) were featured in the first few moments of the film. Clint Eastwood's character raises lilies on a farm in Peoria, Il. They only bloom for a day? I wonder if that's true.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80". Borrowed 'HOLY COW' and 'TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH' from Hoopla to meet my quota for September. Watched 'HOLY COW' (Hoopla). A troubled teen and his young sister try to make a go of it on their farmstead dairy after their father dies. It's got a strange tone and far from an average 'coming of age' tale.
