7am (2-B). 1010am (2-B). 215pm (1-B). 505pm (2-B).

Up 510am: Partly cloudy with haze and temps to upper 80's. 

Watched the Netflix disc 'COLOSSAL'.  Premise: A monster attack in Seoul, South Korea seems to be connected to an alcoholic woman in the US. She's got relationship woes and her boyfriend has kicked her out of their NYC apartment and she flees to her abandoned family home in the suburbs and connects with a guy from her grade school days..."I'm the robot, she's the monster".  A strange concept for a film, but it works; with Anne Hathaway, Jason Sudeikis, Austin Stowell, Dan Stevens, and Tim Blake Nelson. 3 wins & 8 nominations. "70" Metascore. 

950am: PC is 'Off' and the plan is to get in five miles on the treadmill before leaving for the dental checkup. Then, I'll mail back the disc and hit Best Buy for a new phone cord (using the five dollar rebate email).  

1010am:  FIVE MILES AT 4.1 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; TUESDAYS WITH STORIES- Mark talks tales of Australia,  more of ROBERT KENNEDY JR. on J.R.E.  

1235pm:  To the dentist and mailed the disc near the Monroe & Fairway PO box. In the chair the dental fee was just over $100, but when I went to pay it was only seven dollars. There was a credit from my last visit and I got forms to even get reimbursed for the 7 bucks. I don't trust the dentist or the insurance people.

To Best Buy for a 10 dollar phone cord & my rebate email expired on June 24th.

Home by 150pm & we got a little bit of mist/rain but not nearly enough to make a difference.

Too late; only 2 beers tonight (no ginger ale) because of the nap.

510pm: In the tub with 'THE MORMON MURDERS' and listening to FLEET FOXES Playlist; MY MORNING JACKET Playlist; JETHRO TULL- first 2 albums Playlist; SONICS Playlist. 

Began a SARAH SILVERMAN podcast. Both her parents died within two weeks of each other (early June-mom; late June-dad).

More 'CLARK' (Netflix). I shut it down 18 minutes into episode #3... "Based on Truths & Lies".

Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
