7pm (2-B). NEW BATCH- 930am (2-B). 1225pm (1-B). 430pm (2-B). 720pm (2-B).
Up 530am: Hot & sunny with temps almost to 100 {Humidity 89%} EXCESSIVE HEAT WARNING thru Saturday. I didn't even open the windows this morning.
Watched 'KNOCK AT THE CABIN DOOR' (Amazon Prime). The theme is that the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse arrive on earth as 'Guidance, Healing, Nurturing, and Violence'. Two dads and their eight year old adopted daughter must make a choice. One of them must die or all of humanity perishes and the three of them will live in limbo for eternity. I thought there would be a trick ending, but I guess the 'Four Horsemen' never lie; with Dave Bautista, Jonathan Groff, Ben Aldridge, Nikki Amuka-Bird, Rupert Grint, and Abby Quinn. Directed by M. Night Shyamalan.
NEW BATCH: 'Butterscotch Willy' Hybrid.
Finished 'BURN THE HOUSE DOWN' (Netflix). It was the other brother who started the kitchen fire. He was returning a sweater that his mother had stolen and he noticed something brown and delicious on the stove. Mayhem ensued. The actor looked about eight years old but he was playing a fourteen year old so he was too young to be criminally charged. Such a strange and foreign series, although aimed at a Japanese audience, the themes and issues reveal a lot to a westerner about the Japanese people. I really liked this one.
Watched 'THE HOUSE ON SWEET AND SEVENTH' (60"- Amazon Prime). On a September night in 1998 in Bismarck, North Dakota a husband and wife were brutally murdered. It was their son and a friend who wielded the knives, but upwards of a dozen people knew about the crime and nobody notified the police. No real reason was offered for why they did it. I think that if a bunch of people who are not related move into a house in your neighborhood, you stand a good chance of experiencing problems.

Began 'THE ENDLESS NIGHT' (Netflix). I shut it down 24 minutes into episode #2. A docudrama about a nightclub fire in Santa Maria, Brazil where a couple of hundred people died. The lead singer in one of the bands lit the ceiling on fire by mistake during their act. He split immediately. I'm already hooked and the fire happened in the first half of episode #1 and the series has five episodes.
