Up 650am: Sunny with temps to low 80's...A picture perfect summer day.

Watched Netflix disc 'BABYLON'. Lurid & grotesque, but the film delivers a powerful punch. It takes profanity to a level of supreme eloquence yet for all the melodramatic excess, it's a brilliant look at the change from Silent Film to Talkies. Tobey McGuire was an executive producer and Flea really was in the film.  

***Internet was 'On' before I went to bed, but 'Off' this morning. At 745am I noticed that it had returned. Hope it sticks around. 

When the internet returned I checked my calendar for the first time in a week and noticed that I should have had blood drawn yesterday. I'll call Garg's office and find out if a day late will make a difference. Too long a wait when I called at 805am. 

I tried to call and pay the car insurance, but it was too early. Will hit them later, also.  

1045am: Began waiting to talk to somebody at Dr. Garg's office. Why is it so busy? Were people injured in the storms and outages of the past week? The clerk said that I could go to the drive-up on 6th st. (across from the phone company) and one day wouldn't make a difference for them to process the results.  

I called State Farm and paid the car insurance and the homeowners insurance on the Visa card.

***I made an appointment with Tom's Plumbing for Monday, 7/10 to have the sump pump checked out; 12pm-2pm.  

I was going to start the next Netflix disc but I think I'll take a chance that the internet will be 'On' tonight. If not, I'll see if I can find a disc to watch on the shelves. 

12pm: PC is 'Off' and will do weights and then walk to the Monroe PO to mail back the disc and then walk to the clinic on So. 6th.

Weights: 3 sets/ 15 reps. 

115pm- 340pm: To downtown...Out Edwards,  Monroe PO,  to Springfield Clinic Drive-up but no walk-ins, cars only. 225pm at Springfield Clinic...waiting....240pm...walking...Scarritt, Williams, Wash.Pk northside, up the hill,  Parkview, Kenyon, and down to 940. Poles & crossbars need replacement...BECKOLOGY, KING CRIMSON,  more of ROBERT KENNEDY JR on J.R.E.

450pm: In the tub with 'KATE VAIDEN' and listening to MILES DAVIS- 'On The Corner' Deluxe' & 'What It Is' Live Montreal, 1983; 'Soul Clap Records' compilation. 

Finished ALISON BRIE on The Might Be Drunk.

More 'SAFE' (Netflix). Shut it down 34 minutes into episode #7. Only one episode remains. So many characters and motives that who killed the boy in the pool and what happened to Emma is anyone's guess.  But I'm still very involved and it just keeps chugging along. Filmed in Manchester, Liverpool, and Cheshire, England.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
