Up 6am: Bright & hot with temps to about 90.

***Buddy was sick in the hallway about 4am. When I got up he seemed OK and ate normally, but his behavior is more lethargic than usual- almost withdrawn.

Watched the Netflix disc 'SWISS ARMY MAN'. An Absurdist/ Art Film about a man stranded on an island with a corpse that becomes his friend and savior. The film is about friendship and the ability to express genuine feelings. I think I tried to watch this movie a long time ago and I gave up on it because it seemed too absurd (the dead body as a farting motorboat), but I'm glad I gave it another shot; with Daniel Radcliffe, Paul Dano, and Mary Elizabeth Winstead. Filmed in Humboldt, California, Redwood City, California, and Los Angeles. The film should be viewed as an intentional 'Infantile/ Magical Realism/ Fever Dream' and it works more often than it does not.  

Watched more of 'THE KING WHO NEVER WAS' (Netflix). I shut it down 14 minutes into the final episode and thirty minutes remain. I'll finish it tomorrow and begin another foreign series from the Netflix queue tonight. 

1105am: PC is 'Off' and the plan is to do the weights and then mail the disc at the Wabash PO and hit Planet Fitness. 

Weights: 3 sets/ 15 reps.

1205pm:  To Planet Fitness...45"Cross.  45"Treadmill.  30"Bike.  30"Treadmill.  30"Cross...watched 'THE IRISH MOB' (Amazon Prime)- A melodrama about the 'numero uno' mob boss of Dublin, Ireland as he loses power over his minions. A straight forward gangster Pic but not bad; watched a short film called 'UNSPEAKABLE' (Amazon Prime)- A woman believes that her live-in boyfriend is acting inappropriately with her eleven year old daughter. It's just her ex-husband's  raging insecurity.  At only 46 minutes it's a little thin but still worth a look.; more TOM SEGURA on J.R.E. ; began CHRIS DISTEFANO on WHISKEY GINGER.

Began 'PERDIDA' (Netflix).  This might be the best series I've seen in months. A man sets himself up to go to the toughest prison in Columbia to find the man who kidnapped his four year old daughter.  I shut it down 10 minutes into episode #2. The title, 'perdida'  means 'lost' in Spanish and Portuguese.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
