Sa 6/19/23

720am (2-B). 1230pm (2-B). 510pm (2-B). 830pm (2-B).

Up 610am: Mostly sunny with temps to upper 80's. Here comes the heat!

***I noticed that Buddy threw up downstairs near the furnace but there seemed to be a lot of hair. When I returned this afternoon he had thrown up in the kitchen and it also was mostly a hairball.

Watched Netflix disc 'DEAR EVAN HANSEN'. When I started the disc I thought that it would be entirely a 'Musical' so I almost turned it off , but it's got an innovative storyline and the musical numbers were only a small (yet powerful) part of the film. The main protagonist is a liar and it's really hard to empathize with his situation although the film is insightful in demonstrating how one lie of omission can bring about a chain of events that end in catastrophe. The film develops so many different themes that it's hard to understand what it's really about. Is it a lamentation on teen suicide, gay feelings, friendship, parents or family issues? Or maybe it just means when the fiction becomes fact, print the fiction; with Ben Platt (he was in the Broadway musical), Julianne Moore, Kaitlyn Dever (SHORT TERM 12), Amy Adams (NOCTURNAL ANIMALS, HILLBILLY ELEGY), and Nik Dodani (ATYPICAL).  "39" Metascore, but I think this is a little low.

More of 'PAINKILLER' (Netflix). I shut it down 32 minutes into episode #5. It's too bad that I couldn't watch the Hulu series that also dealt with The Sacklers.

1145am: The plan is to do the weights and then mail the disc and hit Planet Fitness this afternoon.

Weights: 3 sets/ 13 reps (increased the repetitions).

1245pm:  To Planet Fitness...45"Cross.  45"Treadmill.  30"Bike.  30"Treadmill.  30"Cross; watched movie 'MAKEUP' (Amazon Prime)- A young woman works the off season at an English seaside holiday camp to be with her first love.  She thinks he's cheating so she gives in to her  feelings toward a sexually experienced female coworker.  The film is a brooding & moody Alternative film that's set in St. Ives, Cornwall; watched an episode of 'THE FBI FILES'- World Trade Center, February 1993; finished THEO VON 'Flea Market'; began MARK NORMAND on HOWIE MANDEL podcast

Dollar General- 2 votive style candles and tall one with Catholic imagery.

515pm: In the tub with 'NO WITNESSES' and listening to MILES DAVIS Playlist; GRATEFUL DEAD- 'Bear's Choice'/ Playlist'.

Watched 'Something's Burning' with THEO VON & ANDREW SANTINO.

More 'PAINKILLER' (Netflix). I shut it down 28 minutes into episode #6. When I finish the series I want to read more about the Sackler family. Rudy Giuliani was the Sackler family's lawyer!!!

***Call Fairhills about the inhaler
