Watched Netflix disc 'SMILE'. A therapist loses her mind after a patient commits suicide in front of her. She learns that a demon force will take possession of her and will force her to take her own life within a week. A fantastic psychological horror film that reminded me of  'IT FOLLOWS'; with Sosie Bacon (parents: Kevin Bacon & Kyra Sedgwick), Jessie T. Usher, Kyle Gallner, Robin Weigert, and Kal Penn (HAROLD & KUMAR GO TO WHITE CASTLE). Directed by Parker Finn; "68" Metascore- 2 wins & 9 nominations.

Finished 'THE LADY OF SILENCE: THE MATAVIEJITAS MURDERS' (Netflix). The authorities convicted a former lady wrestler of the murders and she was sentenced to 759 years in prison. Because the documentary focused so much  on the media hype that it makes you wonder if the police 'solved' a lot of similar murders by pinning the blame on this woman. Did the murder of old ladies in Mexico City end after this woman was incarcerated? 

1130am: The PC is 'Off' and the plan is to hit Planet Fitness.

PAT; a 'COLD CASE FILES' (AMAZON PRIME)- A San Francisco women is raped & murdered and the case is solved with DNA evidence thirteen years later.

530pm: In the tub with 'DARK MATTER' and listening to JOHN SCOFIELD Playlist; JACK BRUCE- 'Sunshine Of Your Love' Retrospective Playlist.

Began 'SPOTLESS' (Netflix). A money strapped, yet law abiding crime scene cleaner gets conned into removing $100,000 worth of heroin from the body of a dead hooker who was acting as a drug mule. His criminal older brother shows up unannounced to his family's apartment with a problem. He's got a frozen body with a stomach full of heroin. I finished the first episode and will definitely be back for more. I think it's a couple of famous French actors in a film set in London.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Not bad, but close, however excellent and creative charcoal drawings as the 'hints' to Eckhart's character. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
