Up 545am: A mix of sun & clouds with high humidity and temps to just over 90. The 'Excessive Heat Warning' is still in effect. 

Watched 'COVEN OF SISTERS' (Netflix). A group of young Basque women in 1609 are accused of  being witches. The church authorities based their inquiry on a town where a woman danced after the death of her son. Bystanders began dancing and soon the entire city was lost in dance. This convinced the priests that women dancing was an evil practice and extremely dangerous. A powerful Art Film and could have made an excellent stage play. Fun Fact: 7,000 were accused of being witches during that 'satanic panic' in Basque Country.  Bilbao is Basque and Barcelona is Catalan.

Finished 'RED ROSE' (Netflix). It wasn't demons or the supernatural at all, but just a female computer wizard with a loyal band of followers. It didn't go out with a bang, yet a quality piece of entertainment nonetheless. And, finished with a song by OASIS ('Master Plan') in honor of the greater Manchester area. Directed by The Clarkson Twins (Michael and Paul) who are from Bolton.  1130am: PC is 'Off' and the plan is to do the weights and then spend the afternoon on the machines at Esporta.

1225pm:  To Esporta...45" Precor.  45"Treadmill.  30"Cross.  30"Bike.  20" Precor;  watched movie 'BOMBSHELL:  The Hedy Lamarr Story' (Netflix)- A profile of a sexy early 20th century actress who was also known for her inventions. 'Channel Hopping'- Change radio frequencies while remotely directing a torpedo to prevent enemy hacking; COLD CASE FILES (Netflix)- A young mother from Altoona, PA went missing for 15 years. Her father in law did it; more of 'WE MIGHT BE DRUNK'.

Talked with 'Coach John'? The usual blather and horror stories of 'people who workout too much'(more than he does).

Began 'THE MESS YOU LEAVE BEHIND' (Netflix). I shut it down 10 minutes into episode #2. Set in Galicia, northwestern Spain. A teacher is filling in for a teacher that committed suicide. However, the woman's husband thinks it was murder. This is shaping up into something that might be interesting.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Not bad, but close, however excellent and creative charcoal drawings as the 'hints' to Eckhart's character. We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
