Up 6am: Cloudy and a threat of rain all day with temps to mid 70's.

705am: FIVE MILES AT 4.1 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; more of 'BAND OF BROTHERS' (Netflix)- The guys go to Holland as the invasion of Normandy continues.  

I will do the weights later this afternoon. My left lower side hurts for some reason. I could have powered through it, but why?

I began  'THE MANY SAINTS OF NEWARK' (Amazon Prime) but realized almost immediately that I had seen it fairly recently. Then I watched 'SONATA' (Amazon Prime). A special needs boy from rural Poland is labeled autistic, but his deafness is the cause of his behavioral problems. He's a willful and headstrong young man trapped in isolation and playing the piano is his only means of expression. After he receives a hearing implant his ability on the keyboard improves and he demands to attend music school to refine his talent.  ODD OBSERVATIONS: His father believes that the reason he has been diagnosed 'autistic' is that the medical community makes more money if they employ the 'autistic' label. Filmed near Krakow, Poland. 8 wins & 7 nominations. Some viewers might have problems with an actor of normal intelligence portraying a 'special needs' individual. An unusual film, but I really liked it.  

Finished 'DEAR CHILD' (Netflix). A surprise ending at the beach with the candy cane tower. Fake Lena stabs her captor in the neck and says, 'I AM NOT LENA'. Hanah and her 'fake' mother bond on the beach  and granddad accepts the death of 'the real' Lena (his daughter) through group therapy. I ordered 'SLEEPLESS'  by Romy Hausmann for $5.25 on Amazon and I put 'DEAR CHILD' on reserve as an eBook at the library. 

115pm: PC is 'Off' and will do some reading and prepare for the visit to the vet at 450pm.

WEIGHTS:  3 sets/  15 reps [added a rep]. No back/ side pain and it went easily. 

430pm- 530pm: To Brewer

1 pill/ 1 tube...Intestinal gas seems to be the major problem and his thyroid numbers are fine. Anti-hairball gel should be a regular part of his diet forever and I got one pill to split in half (2 doses) for his nausea. I will save the second half for (if?) he throws up again***Shop for the best deal on the anti-hairball gel; $186.38 for the visit.  

605pm:  In the tub with 'THE SECRET SPEECH' and listening to 60's DETRITUS Playlist; MOUNTAIN 'Best of'; Early ROLLING STONES Playlist.

Began 'GOOD MORNING, VERONICA' (Netflix). I watched the last episode of Season # 1 to refresh for Season #2. I remembered nothing from the final episode of season I so I decided to begin the whole thing again. Set in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Certain scenes were familiar but I will not regret watching both seasons. It's a powerful series. I shut it down 7 minutes into episode #2.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
