Up 615am: At 5am I got up to give Buddy a little Friskies, then I read/napped. Bright & sunny with temps to low 80's.

Watched 'RIGHTEOUS KILL' (Amazon Prime). Two NYC police detectives near retirement and one is a serial killer. He is 'clearing the streets of two footed vermin' or some such nonsense and leaves poems at the murder scene about his hits to link the murders. The big reveal is that it's not the partner that we thought, but the other one. Another film that was 'so bad, it was good'; with Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, Carla Gugino, John Leguizamo, Donnie Wahlberg, Brian Dennehy,  Melissa Leo, Trilby Glover, and 50 Cent (in the credits as 'Curtis Jackson'- his real name). "36" Metascore.

Watched 'PATRIA' (Netflix). “Patria” is used to denote that emotional connection to a particular place you're proud to belong to rather than just referring to your country of origin.

A Mexican author relates some of his country's history from 1854- 1867:

-Dictator Santa Anna

-Established a very Liberal constitution celebrating the rights of the common man.

-Several European invasion by Napoleon III. They held the country for 4 years.

-Emperor Maximilian is executed by firing squad

***I ordered a tube of fabric glue from Amazon:  $6.00. The plan is to repair the ripped pockets of my old sweatpants to make them good as new. 

455pm: TWO MILES AT 4.1 PACE AND ZERO SLANT;  began ROBERT KENNEDY JR & CHERYL HINES on TIGER BELLY. 

***While  I was on the treadmill Buddy threw up on the kitchen counter.  He seems fine & there was a hairball in the mess.

555pm:  In the tub with 'THE SECRET SPEECH' and listening to ROLLING STONES- 'Tattoo You' Deluxe Playlist; BUDDY MILES- 'Best of'.

Watched 'SCOUTS HONOR: The Secret Files Of The Boy Scouts Of America' (Netflix). FUN FACT: 82,000 (eighty-two thousand!!!) cases have been filed against the Boy Scouts of America for sexual abuses.

***The BSA and the churches that supported the organization believed that the sexual abuse problem was really a gay problem. When the supreme court overturned the ruling that allowed the Boy Scouts to ban gay scout leaders the Mormon Church withdrew from the BSA.  

***When I went upstairs I noticed that Buddy had been sick outside the downstairs door. He seemed fine and ate as usual, but I fed him slightly less.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
