Up 630am: I got up around 430am to feed Buddy and slept late.  He kept the food down. Today it will be partly cloudy with temps to about 80.

Watched 'THE BAD BATCH' (Netflix). I had seen this before, but it was well worth another look despite the glacial pace and the absence of nearly all dialogue for the first twenty minutes of the film. Directed by Ana Lily Amirpour.  The 'Bad Batch' are America's castoffs and they live in anarchy at a sprawling desert enclave. And, for some of the tribes human flesh is food; with Suki Waterhouse, Jason Momoa, Keanu Reeves, Jim Carrey ('The Hermit' and I didn't recognize him), and Giovanni Ribisi. One win & 3 nominations. "62" Metascore... "You can catch more flies with honey, but who wants flies"..."This is not real"...Filmed near Niland and Salton Sea, California.

More of 'DEAR CHILD' (Netflix). I shut it down 42 minutes into episode #5. The series concerns the massive psychological damage that can be done to the victim of an extended kidnapping. The 'replacement' Lena has completely lost it.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
