Up 710am: Cloudy with rain beginning later this morning and temps only to about 70 [sunny after 2pm].

Watched 'THE ADJUSTMENT BUREAU' (Netflix). Call it 'astral influence' or 'kismet', but something is keeping a popular politician and a modern dancer apart and to understand their romantic compulsion they must learn that free will is only possible if you can create your own destiny. Only men with hats can navigate the 'substrata', they can't operate properly surrounded by water, and the 'fate twisters' also have their limitations; with Matt Damon, Emily Blunt, Michael Kelly (HOUSE OF CARDS), and Anthony Mackie.

Screenplay by George Nolfi and from a short story by Philip K. Dick called. "THE ADJUSTMENT TEAM"... "Are you an angel?"-"No, more like a case officer".

More of 'THE INNOCENT' (Netflix). I shut it down 10 minutes into episode #4. Olivia has been found and her husband should have suffered a broken jaw and several broken teeth at the very least. It's getting a bit melodramatic, but that's what Harlan Coben does. 

1225pm: PC is 'Off' and the plan is to walk the treadmill again today.  The rain continued until about 2pm. & then cool and mostly sunny.

 1255pm:  FIVE MILES AT 4.1 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; watched 'The State of Alabama vs. BRITTANY SMITH (Netflix)- A young Alabama mother tries the 'Stand Your Ground' defense but the judge wasn't buying it. Nationally, woman are twice as likely to be found guilty when invoking this statute. However, there seemed to be a lot of holes in Brittany's case; began 'THE MACHINE' (Netflix)- Bert Kreischer's memoir about his high school trip to Russia. He thought he was saying 'Badass' in Russian but he was really saying 'Machine'. I expected more of Bert & only somewhat worth a look but I will finish watching it.

455pm:  TWO MILES AT 4.1 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; began WE MIGHT BE DRUNK with ROY WOOD JR. 

545pm: In the tub with 'THE COLOR OF LIGHT' and listening to JAMES GANG- 'Best of '; SAVOY BROWN- 'Street Corner Talking'/ 'A Step Further'; SCREAMING BLUE MESSIAHS Playlist.

***6pm: Dr. Guth (Brewer) advised to keep the steroid dose every day for 10 days, then every other day. DO THE MATH.

More 'THE INNOCENT' (Netflix). I shut it down 13 minutes into episode #5. So many characters and so many interactions that I'm sure that the 'big reveal' will leave me with a lot of questions.

We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
