Wrote up 'THE STORY OF ARTHUR TRULUV ' by Elizabeth Berg for the blog.

Watched 'Guy Ritchie's- THE COVENANT' (Amazon Prime).  An American platoon leader meets a dynamic translator (interpreter!) on a mission and after successful forays against the enemy they both become 'Most Wanted' by the Taliban. The translator saves the horribly wounded squad leader and drags him 70 miles through the Afghanistan desert and after reaching the American base he is left to fend for himself against the Taliban.  To save his conscience and to repay his debt, months later the squad leader returns to save the translator. Everyone seemed to be a little too stoic, but this is based on a true incident. A powerful film; with Jake Gyllenhaal, Dar Salim. Directed by Guy Richie. 

More 'THE NIGHT LOGAN WOKE UP' (Netflix). I finished episode #2 and it looks like the old lady has frozen her kids out of the will. What a steamy and melodramatic series and even though I'm not fully aware of what's going on, I am still captivated. This might be my first French Canadian drama. 

1140am: PC is 'Off' and the plan is to do the weights and then hit Esporta. I would have gone to Planet Fitness today, but yesterday's long walk strained the muscles on the top of my left foot. I don't think I've ever experienced pain in this area and I don't remember doing anything yesterday that might have caused the condition. Why?

Weights: 3 sets/ 15 reps. Dumbbells. 

1235: To Esporta...45" Precor.  15" Treadmill;  3.8 pace, 30" Recumbent Bike.  30" Cross.  30" Recumbent  Bike.  30" Precor;. 15" Recumbent Bike;  watched 'ALEX CROSS' (Amazon Prime)- A psycho murders his wife and unborn child and Alex gets his revenge.  Corny; began a movie, 'Back To The Drive-in' (Amazon Prime)- A dull documentary about the state of US drive-in businesses. The drive-in in Gibson City, IL was featured. 

***email from Janny. Cider & apples? I was at Esporta and told them to leave the cider on the breezeway but I just got an email to 'enjoy the weather'.

Reading 'RICH MAN POOR MAN'

555pm:  In the tub with 'RICH MAN POOR MAN' and listening to FREE- '1st'; ROY BUCHANAN- 'Live Stock'.

***Buddy threw up when I was in the tub. 

Finished DAN SODER on Blocks and began LEWIS BLACK on WHISKEY GINGER.

More of 'THE NIGHT LOGAN WOKE UP' (Netflix). I shut it down 11 minutes into episode #4. I think that the old lady left the inheritance to the young man who raped her daughter? This thing is very over-the-top, but I like it.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
