***When I woke up my right ear was completely clogged. I used the rubber- bulb syringe in the tub last night and it didn't clear the wax. This is the worst that I can remember and it took a couple of hours before I was able to anything approaching normal.  

Watched 'BOYZ IN THE HOOD' (Netflix). It's a unique perspective on the 'Mean Streets/ Ghetto' film genre and tries to portray the characters as more human and multidimensional, but it feels more like parody than reality. I liked it, but a lot of it didn't ring true although they certainly tried; with Cuba Gooding Jr., Laurence Fishburne, Angela Bassett, and Ice Cube. Nominated for 2 oscars; 12 wins & 27 nominations. "76" Metascore..."Increase The Peace".    

Finished 'THE GANGS OF OSLO' (Netflix). A less than satisfying ending, but still a series that was well worth a look. They are not sure if there will be a second season.

Began 'HOLY FAMILY' (Netflix). What is going on is not revealed until the end of episode #2, but why it occurred is still a mystery. A mother and her two teenage children steal a baby at a crowded Spanish park. There are two seasons of this series and I'm already hooked.  Part of the series is shot in Madrid, Spain and part in Melilla which is a Spanish city in Morocco. I had no idea there was a Spanish city on the continent of Africa.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
