Watched 'REVOIR PARIS' (Hoopla).  A woman is present at a mass shooting in a crowded Parisian restaurant/ bar. She comes back later and learns that the bar hosts a support group of people who are dealing with the aftermath of the attack. Many of the survivors want to connect with people who have shared their terror and also to find out if they made it through the ordeal. I had never heard of this type of support happening where an attack has occurred even though mass shootings are a common occurrence in the US. "71" Metascore; 4 wins & 2 nominations.

Watched 'GUATEMALA: Meet The Maras' (Amazon Prime- 60 minutes). A camera crew stalks the favelas of Guatemala to learn about the Maras (gangs) and how they function. Most of the crews make their money by shaking down local businesses. They look at it as merely a 'tax' to keep bad elements from wrecking their stores although the gangs will kill proprietors who fail to pay. 

1130am: PC is 'Off' and will do the weights and then hit Planet Fitness this afternoon. I plan to hit Dollar General for more candles and spaghetti.

1230pm: To Planet Fitness...45"Cross.  45"Treadmill.  30"Bike.  30"Treadmill. 30"Cross; watched documentary 'COOLGARDIE HOTEL (Amazon Prime)- Two young women from Finland get hired as 'pub girls' in a remote Australian mining town and learn that life among the violent drunks ain't easy; an episode 'COLD CASE FILES' (Netflix)- A black man is murdered in rural Georgia and it takes 35 years to convict the white killers.

More 'BLOOD COAST' (Netflix). I shut it down 30 minutes into episode #5. I have only a vague idea what's going on, but the action sequences are intense.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Not bad, but close, however excellent and creative charcoal drawings as the 'hints' to Eckhart's character. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
