Watched 'FREEWAY' (Tubi).  A profile of an American girl who was born to be wild and preordained to live a short and brutal life. She kills a serial rapist, but she might be the bigger threat to society. An odd film in that it was very shocking and violent, but so over the top that it was funny. It is supposed to be loosely based on the fable of 'Little Red Riding Hood'; with Reese Witherspoon, Kiefer Sutherland, Bokeem Woodbine, Dan Hedaya, Brook Shields, Brittany Murphy, Amanda Plummer. 6 wins & 4 nominations; "61" Metascore. I really liked it and was surprised that I had never heard of this film.  It might be considered an early 'Absurdist Black Comedy' in the style of 'BEAU IS AFRAID'.    

Watched 'THE TOURIST' (Netflix). A man driving in the Australian Outback is involved in a car accident with a tractor trailer. When he awakens he has no personal identification and his memory is gone. Interesting premise and some beautiful locations. The film was shot near The Ikara-Flinders Ranges National Park which is about 125 miles north of Adelaide, Australia. I'll continue this series at Esporta this afternoon. 

1135am: PC is 'Off' and the plan is to do the weights and then head to Esporta for a workout.

Finished TAYLOR TOMLINSON on 'Blocks'.

More of 'THE TOURIST' (Netflix). Things get freaky when the main character unintentionally drinks from a water bottle that was laced with LSD. Maybe it will help him recover his memory?

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Not bad, but close, however excellent and creative charcoal drawings as the 'hints' to Eckhart's character. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
