Up 615am: Partly cloudy & breezy with temps to upper 60's.

***Before 7am I used the grass whip to cut back some of the dandelions near the fireplug out front. They are the hardiest of weeds and the whip does little. 

***745am : Asplundh Tree Service pulled up in front of the old lady's house next door. They hadn't done a thing by 830am, until I noticed that they were in my backyard cutting on my 'tulip tree'.  By 9am they had moved on to one of the old lady's trees. The tulip tree looks fine. 

Watched 'WHO YOU THINK I AM' (Kanopy). An interesting look at the 'Catfishing Genre'. A woman in her fifties is dumped by her boyfriend who is 25 years her junior. She gets in an online relationship with a buddy of her ex and assumes the 'virtual identity' of her niece. Later she learns that this man has committed suicide because he couldn't have her. The hook is that her niece is the woman that seduced her husband and broke up the family and the new guy didn't really commit suicide. She ends up in an asylum. A very interesting film; with Juliette Binoche. "70" Metascore.  

Finished 'ANTHRACITE' (Netflix). I couldn't make much sense of it, but it was a wild & wooly ride. The uncle was the bad guy, but what was the 'secret lab' doing in the tunnels? How did all of the dead people end up in the tunnels? Was the cult leader a bad guy? Add massive infusions of Indica and maybe comprehension will follow.

1230pm: Running behind and the PC is 'Off' and the plan is to do the weights and then hit Planet Fitness.

125pm: Planet Fitness...45"Cross,  45"Treadmill,  30"Bike,  30"Treadmill, 30"Cross; binged a few episodes of 'AMERICAN CONSPIRACY: The Octopus Murders' (Netflix)- Which liars are the most believable? Reagan paid $40 million to Iran to hold the hostages until he won the presidential election from Jimmy Carter-THE OCTOBER SURPRISE.

550pm: In the tub with 'RIPLEY UNDER GROUND' and listening to BYRDS- 'Live at The Fillmore West'; ADRIAN BELEW POWER TRIO; ADAM'S HOUSE CAT.

Began 'BABY REINDEER' (Netflix). A very clever series about a man who must deal with a 'large' female stalker. Like nothing else. I shut it down 14 minutes into episode #3. The segments are only a little over 30" and only seven chapters in the series. That is a change from what I've been watching.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Not bad, but close, however excellent and creative charcoal drawings as the 'hints' to Eckhart's character. We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
