Watched 'CATHERINE CALLED BIRDY' (Amazon Prime) {Features Andrew Scott who played 'Ripley'}.  A young aristocratic girl rebels against 13th century life and tries to make her own way in the world. Clever and lively with an excellent cast; with Bella Ramsey, Billie Piper, Andrew Scott, Lesley Sharp Joe Alwyn, and Sophie Okonedo. Directed by Lena Dunham; 2 wins & 10 nominations. "74" Metascore.

Watched 'DANNY GREENE: The Rise and Fall of The Irishman' (Amazon Prime). A profile of an important 70's mobster from Cleveland where he was seen more of a saint than a sinner. He was perceived as the Robin Hood-like character and a loyal friend to the Irish and an unforgiving enemy to the Italians. He used bombs to get his way and in a simple twist of fate, he was killed in a car bombing in 1978. 

1145am: PC is 'Off' and the plan is to do the weights and then hit Esporta. Extra effort will be paid to avoid going to Planet Fitness by mistake.

1240pm: Esporta... 45"Precor,  45"Treadmill, 30"Cross,  30" Recumbent Bike,  30"Precor;  watched movie 'FOR THE SAKE OF VICIOUS' (Amazon Prime)- A man kidnaps another man because he is convinced that he raped and killed his young daughter.  Brutal and deadly fisticuffs abound; watched a 'COLD CASE FILES (Amazon Prime)- A man disappeared while duck hunting at a remote lake in Florida. His best friend and his wife conspired to kill him for the insurance. It took eighteen years for the authorities to bring the pair to justice; more of a 'WE MIGHT BE DRUNK'.

545pm:  In the tub with 'BEAUTIFUL SHADOW' and listening to ORNETTE COLEMAN Playlist; OHIO PLAYERS- 'Millennium Collection'.

Finished 'WE MIGHT BE DRUNK' and began a 'The Way Back' with RYAN SICKLER.

More 'ANTHRACITE' (Netflix).  I shut it down 13 minutes into episode #5. A Lot of moving parts to the series, but chock full of fantasy tinged and quirky elements.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Not bad, but close, however excellent and creative charcoal drawings as the 'hints' to Eckhart's character. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
