Up 6am: Cloudy with temps to upper 70's and more rain predicted for late tonight. Over the last two days we have gotten just over 3 inches of rain according to the rain gauge.

Weekly Cleaning

Watched 'OLDBOY' (Netflix). A man is kidnapped and held for fifteen years. He has no idea who has him or why he has been taken. Reason: When he was in high school he started a rumor that one of the girls in his school was a slut. She committed suicide and her brother is the man who has held him captive all of these years. He 'killed' with his tongue, so now he must pay. A stunning and beautiful film classic. Directed by Park Chan-wook. 40 wins & 27 nominations. "78" Metascore.

Began 'THE OUTREAU CASE: A French Nightmare' (Netflix).  I shut it down 15 minutes into episode #2.  This is 'The McMartin Preschool Case' only it is happened in northern France. It's really about prosecutors who are out to make a name for themselves by hyping a notorious crime involving sex and children. None of the charges are backed by evidence or verifiable proof, just an out of control investigation predicated by a string of questionable and biased accusations. It's really an outrageous miscarriage of justice.  The city of Outreau, France is located in the far northern part of the country and about 30 miles south of Calais along the coast.

1150am: The PC is 'Off' and the plan is to do the weights and then hit Esporta.

Weights: 3 sets/ 15 reps.

1240pm: To Esporta...45" Precor,  45"Treadmill,  30"Cross,  30" Recumbent Bike,  30"Precor;  finished the O.J. SIMPSON biography on Netflix; more of 'THE OUTREAU CASE: A French Nightmare' (Netflix); more of NEAL BRENNAN on '2 BEARS, 1 CAVE.

Schnucks: $12- apples & large jar Peter Pan peanut butter

Reading 'THE DARK HOURS'

550pm: In the tub with 'THE DARK HOURS' and listening to PRETTY THINGS Playlist. I never really listened to any of their stuff after 1965 and the 'newer' stuff is most definitely worth a listen.

From 'FUTURE SHOCK' by Alvin Toffler:

"The Illiterate of the 21st Century will not be those who cannot read and write. It will be those who cannot learn, unlearn and relearn".

Began 'We Might Be Drunk' with JIMMY CARR

Finished 'THE OUTREAU CASE: A French Nightmare' (Netflix). What a strange case. They were convicted before justice could run its course, and they were acquitted before justice could run its course. Can children's testimony be believed without question? The priest got seven years, and he should have gotten at least fifteen, but then again, he was probably innocent so they only gave him half?
